Български GSM-GPRS Communicator
The communicator is developed on the basis of standard GSM a modem in which a specialized software is embedded. It allows to be configured with specific tasks depending on the application and provides а wireless transmission environment to available local devices with which it communicates via serial port. Behind one communicator can be included up to 12 independent devices. There is an option where the communicator only provides a transparent wireless connection between the device and the corresponding system server. The second mode is where the communicator performs himself data exchange with field devices and collects their data. Then the communicator analyse it and in advance defined criteria, such as digital status change signal or analogue change with a delta greater than the defined - the data is sent to the server.
Additional capabilities:
- Energy Saving Mode - the communication channel remains available to the SCADA server.
- Ability to remotely configure over GPRS
- Buffering of data in case of short-term communication environment problems. After reconnecting all missed frames are sent to the information server.
